Howdy, fellow Deltas, it’s ol’ *Dlbwck!* back again with an update for your Spring ‘24 Deltas!
After a busy rush week starting on Sunday, February 17th, the Brothers sent out five bids to prospective new members. The Brothers received their answers and welcomed five new pledged members to join on Friday night. Celebrations abound!
For Sunday, Jorge, Sam, Logan, and Jacob all experienced their first meeting and had their picture taken. Unfortunately, Shuaib was not able to attend due to a preexisting commitment.

They have much to learn and much to do, but the brothers are excited to welcome in their largest pledge class in over six years. Delta’s resident Sergeant-at-Arms, Wonsuk Han, will have his *dlb* work cut out for him as the pledge class enters into our 120 year history.
Good luck, Pledge Class Spring ‘24!
There’s Always Another Fifth Thursday

With that out of the way, *Dlbwck!* it’s time to share the latest news from our signature alumni meet-up, Fifth Thursday! It all happened last week, Feb 29th, at 6pm for a special leap year’s edition of Fifth Thursday.
Nine Deltas braved the February weather to meet up at the Old Market Pub, enjoy libations, trade stories and take a gander at photo albums located on our trusty archives.
It was then that John Armstrong mentioned receiving a message from Dave Moyer’s spouse remarking on a recent visit to the hospital. With that in mind, those congregated broke out “The Dirty Napkin” to send our thoughts to to Dave (class of ‘64) and then decorate it with regards.

A noted mover and shaker for the funding and construction of 369 SE College Avenue. Without him, the Delta House we all know and love would not be the same as it was today. Ol’ *dlbwck* encourages anyone who would like to send their regards to Dave Moyer and his family to leave a comment on this post.
We still have another three Fifth Thursday events scheduled for this year, all located at the Old Market Pub on the corner of Multnomah and Garden Home. Ben, or Triveckols, as I like to call him, mentioned to me that he may have accidentally presupposed 5pm and would like ol’ *dlbwck!* to correct the record; Fifth Thursdays start at 6pm, *dlb, dlb*.
