Howdy there Deltas of a different feather, it’s ol’ Dlbwck again, ready to smooth your coat with another update at the beginning of Spring Semester 2023. It’s been a *dlb*ing minute, and as the co-resident super-super-super-senior here, along with Brother Murph and the bruising encouragement of Alumni Ben (seriously, man, words hurt), I wanted to give a proper update on the goings-on of the Delta Houseeeeeeeeeee.

Rush Week Spring ’23? When?!
Before we get started, ol’ Dlbwck got wind of the Rush Week Spring ’23 schedule, due to happen next week, from Monday, Feb 13th to Saturday, Feb 18th! *dlbdlbdlb!*

Ben’s note: We’re still waiting for an official schedule, which I’m sure Sergeant-at-Arms Jordan Tate will provide us with in due time. But until then, use this one as your preliminary guide.
As the brothers are very shorthanded right now, Alumni presence is not only helpful but seriously encouraged for Bid Night. Please arrive before 6pm!
New Members? Where?!
*dlb dlb*
That’s right, you probably heard of the new members we recruited this past semester: Avery Shankland, Nick McDougall, and Ryan Erickson-King. They’ve been hard at work helping out alumni, and senior members clean out the basement (we’ll write an update post on that soon), but they still found time to answer a few questions sent by Ben.
Read on to learn more about our newest members and take a moment to admire the faces of these fledgling Deltas.

What hobbies or interests do you spend your free time on?
Avery: I spend most of my free time on music, playing piano, flute, and guitar.
What interested you about joining Delta Psi Delta?
Ryan: A cool house filled with cool people.
What was your favorite pledge-ship experience with the Delta brotherhood?
Avery: My favorite experience as a pledge was working with my pledge brothers on our project, the refurbished fire pit!
What’s your favorite spot on campus?
Ryan: Starbucks!
What’s one goal you would like to achieve while at Delta Psi Delta?
Avery: During my time with Delta Psi Delta, I want to improve the current state of the house.
If there’s one alumnus you could hang out with, why is it Dlbwck, and what would you do together?
Ryan: Dlbwck is just a stand-up guy that I feel like I could go bowling with, dude.
*dlbdlb* Well, that just about does it for me for the moment. Ol’ Dlbwck’s gotta hit the hay for an early morning tomorrow. First class is at 11am!
Just know that Ben and I are hard at work scanning old photo albums for the archives, finding new ways to improve the site, and cooking up a new update on the state of the Delta Basement.
Brother Murph? Well, who knows what brother Murph is up to. A true wildcard he is.
